ADVISORS OF HENRY VIII: CAUSES OF SUCCESS AND FAILURE IN POLITICS
Abstract
The article shows the evolution of relations between monarch Henry VIII and his advisors Thomas Wolsey, Thomas More, Thomas Cromwell, Thomas Cranmer, which had a particular impact on internal and foreign policy of the king at certain stages of political activity. The article studies the reasons for the origin and the spread of favoritism Institute, as well as close relationship between the personality of Henry VIII, the king-reformer, and his advisors, deriving from the conflict of ideas about the serving the crown and serving the king during the period of absolute monarchy establishment and the Church reform.
