M. LERMONTOV IN INTERPRETATION OF V.V NABOKOV: THE POEM «THE DREAM» AS A SEMANTIC KEY TO THE NOVEL «THE HERO OF OUR TIME»
Abstract
The article analyzes the translation of the poem «Dream» made by V.V. Nabokov. Nabokov endowed this poem with a special semantic status assigning him the role of a semantic key to the novel «The Hero of Our Time». The focus of the article is an analysis of Nabokov's interpretation of the poem "Dream" and its translation into English.
