MYTHOPOETICS AND INTERTEXTUALITY AS A WAY TO EXTEND THE ARTISTIC SPACE IN THE TALE BY THE STRUGATSKY BROTHERS «MONDAY BEGINS ON SATURDAY»

Abstract

The article discusses basic techniques and methods of literary studies under the conditions of postmodernism on the example of one of the greatest Soviet science fiction writers Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. The tale "Monday begins on Saturday" is the first and rather complex in terms of intertextual relations work of the writers. The tale represents a system of transformations of “the others” texts as well as the authors’ “own” texts, built on different models.
