В статье анализируются данные о работе вузов на территории Ставропольского края к началу войны (1941), показывается изменение их сети в связи с прибытием в регион по эвакуации вузов из Ленинграда, Днепропетровска и других городов СССР (1941-1942), приводятся сведения о деятельности вузов в период оккупации (август 1942 - январь 1943), описываются события, связанные с восстановлением системы высшего образования в крае в 1943-1945 гг.
The article analyzes the data on the work of universities on the territory of the Stavropol region at the beginning of the war (1941), shows the change of their network due to evacuation of the universities of Leningrad, Dnepropetrovsk and other cities of the USSR (1941-1942) in the region, provides information on the activities of universities during the Nazi occupation (August 1942 - February 1943), describes the events associated with the restoration of the higher education system in the region in 1943-1945.
